Another pretty awesome time in Iowa! We had a Micheal Jackson off in Whiting on Friday and somehow avoided being rained on in Primghar on Saturday. You can check it all out in our pictures section… but what I’m really concerned about is Hornick.

Drew, Shane and I took some time to check out the greatest town in this nation – Hornick, Iowa. Sure it’s population is 253 and it’s speed limit is 25, but with such great landmark names as the  ‘Hornick Park’, ‘Hornick Library’, and ‘Hornick Volunteer Fire Department’ you wonder why it isn’t our nations capital. Iowa kicks ass!  Thanks to Taylor and her staff at the Ritz for a great night on Friday.  A huge thank you goes out to Betty Does for graciously letting us get up and play a few songs on their break.  Jim, it was great to see you and hear your awesome work on the drums!

Meridan Iowa was incredible!  Thanks Roberta for putting on one hell of a street dance.  It never ceases to amaze me how cool the people in Iowa are… one of my favorite places to be.
